Either coming from large families or left without one, the childrenand youth who live and work on the streets constitute children andyouth population left behind by society. They are more likely to dropout early from school and to be engagedin high risk behaviors. In the poorest communities,multiple problems need to be addressed: child labor, poor education,high incidence of malnutrition, child neglect, child abuse, exploitation andchild trafficking. Because theyare vulnerable to various forms of abuse, violence and exploitation, theyare considered at risk and therefore in need of special protection. Last year in partnership with HGS we were able to sponsor 3 children. This year we would like to sponsor 10 children. Any donation you can spare will help us in meeting this objective.
